Congress Bills
An iPhone app to vote your opinion base on your location.
We do not want to wait till next election to tell congressmen if we support their bills. This is how we started this application.
Mobile device is a very personal tool. With the GPS capability, we can match each voter with his or her voting location. When user votes on each introduced bill, each voter will identified their user location that if they are voting from the congressman’s district or not.
Users can:
- store their congressman and their voted bills in a list.
- add and delete the congressman list.
- If the user change his/her mind later, they can also go back to the bill on the list and update their opinion/votes.
- email or call the congressman to express their opinion more in depth from the congressman profile screen.
- submit user opinion on their official web contact form.
- find congressmen’s office address on Google maps.
- see their profile at the CongressPedia.
- subscribe to email alerts from Govtrack.us.
All statistics will be listed at Congress Bill Voting Statistics page. Well.. We want to create an app for all Americans to vote anytime they want. We don’t want to wait till the next election. We need to make Congress accountable starting today!
We used Sunlight API to find zip codes based on GPS locations, legislators by zip code; combined with Govtrack.us API for introduced bills information, and Watchdog API for some raw data and cross-references.
Is this available now? If it is - how do I get it? If it is not, when will this be ready? I love this idea!! I want my congressmen to know what I think quicker than what is set up now!!
This is a great app! I would love to see an app that links to all the bills introduced in the House and Senate and be able to watch how the bills develop. There are some huge issues coming up and I want to know how all our representatives vote.

Извиняюсь, но это мне не подходит. Есть другие варианты?…
